Statement of Clarification: Refutation of False Closure Rumors Regarding Emperor Palace Casino

We have become aware of some untrue statements across various Mainland Chinese social media platform suggesting that Emperor Palace Casino will cease operation by end of June.  We would like to firmly clarify that these statements and rumors are untrue.

 

Emperor Palace Casino remains fully operational and committed to serving our customers and clients.  We want to assure everyone that our operations are continuing as normal. The Group strongly condemns this irresponsible behavior and will take appropriate actions including but not limited to legal action to protect our rights and interests.  We deeply regret any confusion and inconvenience that may be caused to our customers and stakeholders. Additionally, we urge the public to remain vigilant and not to believe unverified information.

 

We take this matter seriously and reserve all rights to pursue legal action against these accounts for any damages that may be caused to our reputation and business.

It has recently come to our attention that there are several fraudulent websites impersonated Emperor Group IT technicians and titled “Emperor Palace 英皇宮殿” operating crowdfunding and online betting activities to obtain funds illegally by featuring our official logo and name, namely “英皇集團” without our authorization.

We hereby declare that the Group and any subsidiary of the Group including Grand Emperor Hotel and Emperor Palace Casino (“Hotel & Casino”) are in no way affiliated to the above website and are not affiliated to and have no business dealings with their distributor. The Group and Hotel & Casino have never provided any online betting services on any websites.
